K-Beauty Updates April!
New month, new trendy updates from the K-beauty world in Seoul! With the concept of K-beauty Updates, we bring together the latest techniques, ingredients, routines or products from social media and our Seoul Mates in Korea.
A trend we've seen circulating that isn't necessarily new in practice, but its clever name that involves working with fewer products that are multifunctional is "Skip Care"! Skip Care is about skipping several steps in the routine and sticking to a shorter routine of about 3-4 products maximum.
This principle is perfect for those who want a short routine or during certain periods of time such as the morning or more stressful and time-pressured moments where the skin care routine needs to go fast but still deliver the results we want of course.
A Skip Care routine can look exactly as you wish and there are no set "rules" for what kind of products it includes but we at GLOWiD would still recommend some type of cleanser, a treatment product (toner, essence or a serum) and an emollient cream for the morning and/or evening.

Below are tips for products that are multifunctional and can be used in more than one way.
Oil To Foam Cleanser - A cleanser that works both as an oil and water-based cleanser. Clean with this twice and you have a two-in-one cleanser! Suitable for all skin types, especially sensitive skin.
Hyal Reyouth Multi Cleansing Foaming Balm - A multi-purpose balm to foam cleanser that takes both makeup and spf like an oil cleanser and lathers up like a water-based cleanser.
All mists - can be used as your toner and can be sprayed between each skincare step for extra moisture and glow.
Toner pads - Toner pads act as a toner, mild exfoliator and sheet mask and are a practical alternative for those who want a quick cleansing of the face.
All In One Essence - An essence that moisturizes, gently exfoliates and strengthens the skin barrier with the help of birch sap, fermented ingredients and B vitamins.
Advanced Snail Dual Radiance Essence - An essence with snail secretion in one half of the product and the other half contains essence with 5% niacinamide. Perfect product for those with oily and acne-prone skin.
Royal Vita Propolis Ampoule - An ampoule that can be used as glow drops by mixing with foundation or powder makeup for a dewy glow.
Natural Repair Serum - A multi-purpose serum suitable for all skin types, especially a sensitive or damaged skin barrier. It repairs, nourishes, glows and moisturizes while strengthening the skin barrier. The large packaging makes it last a long time!
Cle Multi Cream - A multifunctional cream for both face and body, perfect for spot treatment on dry or cracked skin areas. With an incredible scent from Palo Santo.
Green Tea and Enzyme Powder Wash - A mild exfoliating powder where you can control how much "scrubbing" effect you want. The more you mix the powder with water, the more it foams up. The powder can therefore be used as a cleanser or as an exfoliant.
