During the colder months, the skin often needs a little more nourishing and caring products to maintain an optimal moisture balance. In the box you will find, among other things, Balancium comfort ceramide cream from Cosrx, which is a real savior in times of need for dry winter skin.

Balancium comfort ceramide cream is formulated with 3 different types of ceramides that help repair and strengthen the skin's barrier. The skin consists of over 50% ceramides, which are natural building blocks and function a bit like a mortar as they help hold the skin cells together and thus act protectively for the skin. Ceramides are a type of lipid and the skin produces ceramides in the stratum corneum, (the top layer of the epidermis).

Just like collagen and elastin production, ceramides are an ingredient that also decreases with aging or when the skin is exposed to environmental stress such as free radicals and UV exposure. This can lead to the skin's barrier being reduced and weakened, which can often result in the skin becoming irritated, reddened and feeling tight and dry. If you have a reduced barrier, it is important that you give the skin the best conditions for it to be able to repair itself and then avoid more active products. Vitamin A is a cell communicating ingredient that boosts the skin's collagen & elastin production. In a simplified way, it causes older skin cells to act younger and works on the skin's elasticity and fine lines.

Glow & plump sheetmask also contains the peptide hexapetide-8, which is also known as the botox peptide. Peptides, like vitamin A, are a cell-communicating ingredient and work on the skin's elasticity and fine lines.

It is also suitable for use as a nourishing night mask (tip to combine with Hyggee's relief chamomile mist for an extra calming effect). The balm comes in a convenient 30 ml tube packaging that contributes to easy and hygienic application.

Scalp dx scaling schampoo is a multi-functional shampoo that is great for an irritated & itchy scalp and helps reduce hair loss. It is formulated with Follikusan DP which is a patented ingredient that helps strengthen the scalp. The shampoo also contains exfoliated salicylic acid (Bha) and lactic acid (Aha) as well as cooling menthol which gives a cooling sensation when shampooing. It also contains niacinamide and plant ingredients such as soothing chamomile.

You'll also find scalp dx treatment from the same line as the shampoo.

It is a caring hair treatment that helps the hair with nutrition, shine and gives a soothing and cooling feeling to the scalp. The product also prevents hair loss and contains exfoliating pha acid. The ingredient Follikusan DP is also found here, which helps to strengthen the scalp.
